Indicate that a medication has been dispensed in-house by prescribing that medication to an in-house pharmacy. You need to Set Up a Pharmacy for In-House Dispensing before you can select it as an option on the prescription Transmit page. When you prescribe to an in-house pharmacy, the medication is recorded as being authorized from the prescriber, rather than transmitted electronically, and the in-house pharmacy is saved as the patient's preferred pharmacy.

Prescribe to an In-House Pharmacy
- Select medication, enter sig and dispense information, then click the Prescribe button to get to the Transmit page. The In-House Pharmacy will display on the list of Patient Pharmacies in the Pharmacy column next to the medication.
- Click the name of the In-House Pharmacy.
- Click the Transmit button.
