Document No Known Drug Allergies (NKDA)

Prescribers can document that a patient has No Known Drug Allergies (NKDA) from the Compose Rx tab, the Med Entry tab, or the Problems tab.

 

 

NKDA: Compose Rx & Med Entry Tabs

 

  1. Navigate to the Compose Rx or Med Entry tab.
  2. Click the NKDA checkbox in the Allergies section.

    NOTE: The NKDA checkbox only displays when there are no documented allergies.

NKDA: Problems Tab
 

  1. Navigate to the Problems tab.
  2. Click the +Add button in the Allergies section.

  3. Type No Known in the Search Allergies field.
  4. Click the Allergy Search button.

  5. Select No Known Drug Allergies from the Allergy list.
  6. Click the Save Allergy button.
