Customize the Sig Builder

There may be quantity and frequency options in the default Sig Builder that prescribers at your practice never need to use. You can customize these drop-down lists for your entire practice using the Sig Builder Configuration link. Hide unnecessary options to streamline the Sig Builder and make writing prescription instructions easier.
 

1. Click the Sig Builder Configuration link from the Admin tab. 
    
    
2. Select Sig Builder Configuration Preferences:
   • Select or de-select the Default 30 Day Supply option.
   • Select or de-select the Default Show Pharmacist Message on Chart option.
   • Click the Default Sig Builder dropdown and select Open or Closed. 
     • Open Sig Builder: Drop-down menus are open by default.
     • Closed Sig Builder: Drop-down menus are open by default.

       NOTE: The Closed Sig Builder is optimized for mobile use and smaller screens.

        

   • Click the Toggle Switches to select the Quantity and Frequency options to display in the sig builder. You can also select or de-select the Default 30 Day Supply option at the top.
3. When you've finished customizing your Sig Builder, click Save.
