Send a Document to a Contributor

Permissions Required: You need the Docs permission to edit a document.

 

Before you sign a document, you can send it to a contributor when another therapist needs to edit or add to it. Once you send a document to a contributor, you won't be able to continue working with it until you reclaim it or the contributor signs it. Documents requiring work from a contributor are located in the Pending section under the Docs tab. When the contributor either declines or signs the document, it will appear in the Draft section of the Docs tab so you can continue working on it.

 

NOTE:  A contributor can decline the document if they have not made changes to the document. Otherwise, they must add their signature to the document.

 

Send a Document to a Contributor

 

  1. Open your document.
  2. Click the Contributors tab.
  3. To the right of the Contributors section, click the Send to Contributor button.
  4. Search for and select the user you want to send the document to.
  5. Click the Send to Contributor button.
