PERMISSIONS REQUIRED: You need the Docs or Admin permission to add a new home activity to your clinic.
Home Activities are exercises, strategies, educational information, and other activities given to patients and their caregivers as part of a home program. Home activities can be linked to daily notes and reported in progress notes, re-assessments, and discharge summaries. Caregivers can also access home activity resources in the patient portal.
Therapists can add and manage home activities from the Docs tab.
Your clinic needs the Home Education Platform (HEP) add-on to use home activities. If you're interested, reach out to Ensora Rehab Therapy Support.
NOTE: Admins Can Import and Add New Home Activities from the Admin Tab. Only Admins can import Ensora Rehab Therapy’s premade home activities.
To Access Activities:
- Click the Docs tab at the top of the screen.
- Click Home Activities in the menu on the left.

Add a Home Activity
Navigate to the Home Activities section under the Docs tab to add new home activities. Once you add a home activity, it is available to therapists in your clinic under Home Activities and in daily notes.
- Click the + Home Activity button.

- Enter the activity Name.
NOTE: Two active activities cannot have the same name. If you want to add a new activity with the same name as an existing one, either deactivate or rename the old activity first.
- Select the Services checkboxes to indicate which services the activity is available for.
- Enter a Description (Descriptions are optional and may display on progress notes, re-assessments, and discharges).
- Click Choose File to upload a PDF file of the activity document.
- Select Yes in the Active dropdown to indicate that the activity is available for use in daily notes.
- Click the Save Activity button.

Edit a Home Activity
Navigate to the Home Activities section under the Docs tab to edit home activities. A home activity can only be edited by the therapist who added the activity, or by a user with admin permissions.
- Click the Home Activity you want to edit.

- Edit Name, Services, Description, and Active fields as needed.
NOTE: It is not possible to edit the PDF file attached to an existing home activity. If you need to change the PDF file attached to a home activity, you must deactivate or delete the home activity, then create a new home activity with the new PDF.
- Click the Save Activity button.

View or Print a Home Activity
Navigate to the Home Activities section under the Docs tab to view or print home activities.
- Click the Paper icon to View Document to the right of the activity description to display the home activity PDF.

- Click the Download for PDF button to download the document, or click the Print button to print the document.

Deactivate a Home Activity
Navigate to the Home Activities section under the Docs tab to deactivate home activities. A home activity can only be deactivated by the therapist who added the activity, or by a user with admin permissions. Deactivated activities are not available for use in daily notes.
- Click the Activity you want to deactivate.

- Select No in the Active dropdown.
- Click the Save Activity button.

Reactivate a Home Activity
Navigate to the Home Activities section under the Docs tab to reactivate home activities. A home activity can only be reactivated by the therapist who added the activity, or by a user with admin permissions.
- Click the Activity you want to reactivate.

- Select Yes in the Active dropdown.
- Click the Save Activity button.

Delete a Home Activity
Navigate to the Home Activities section under the Docs tab to delete home activities. A home activity can only be deleted by the therapist who added the activity, or by a user with admin permissions. A home activity can not be deleted if it has been used in patient documents.
- Click the Trashcan icon to Delete to the right of the activity description.

- Click the Delete Activity button.
