When we talk about Golden Thread Functionality, we are referring to the interaction of Assessments, Treatment Plans, and Billable Progress Notes. In FormLabTM, the functionality has been added to create each of these forms and have them interact with each other. In order to do so, certain controls/fields must be included when these custom forms are created.
- Assessment: Must include the Prioritized Needs Control.
- Treatment Plan: Must select the appropriate Special Form Type and add the appropriate signature.
- Billable Progress Note: Must select the appropriate Special Form Type and add a Goals/Objective Control.
The option is available if you wish to link a non-FormLabTM Assessment to a FormLabTM Treatment Plan and Progress Note. However, the Assessment must contain the Prioritized Needs table. See below for the list of Assessments that can “talk” to a FormLabTM Treatment Plan.
