If you need to create a new form that is similar to an existing form, an easy way to do that is by copying the existing form and making any needed changes to it.
NOTE: Whether the existing form is published or unpublished, the steps and results are the same.
NOTE: A copied form does not have any relationship with the existing form. The copied form is its own form. The existing form can be considered a template.
- To copy a form, start by opening the Form Library.
- Right-click on the form you wish to copy and select Copy.
- Remove the Copy of name that auto-populates in this window with the new name of the copy of the form and click OK.
- Your new form will appear at the bottom of the Form Library.
- You are now able to open and edit the form without any restrictions.
