After your Payers have been approved and you have subscribed to Electronic Billing you can convert your Office Ally Payers over to Ensora Clearinghouse Payers. We recommend using the Claim Activity Report to make this transition easier.
And then you can verify that the changes have been made correctly by viewing Client Payers.
Convert Payers to Ensora Clearinghouse Payers
Do not switch your Payer to Ensora Clearinghouse until they have been approved. You can switch Payers to Ensora Clearinghouse on an individual basis. You do not need to wait until all Payers have been approved.
- Click Electronic Claims tile on the system homepage.
- Scroll down to Switch to Ensora Clearinghouse section.
- Click dropdown for appropriate Payer and select the correct corresponding Ensora Clearinghouse Payer.
- Click Update Payer.
- Repeat as needed.
Verify Changes at the Client Level
Now that your Payer has been switched to Ensora Clearinghouse in your My Clients Plus account, you can verify that Client has Ensora Clearinghouse Payers listed.
Check Client Payer
- Click Daily Activity inside menu and select Invoice Clients and Insurance.
- BEFORE you generate an Invoice and Insurance Forms, check that the correct Ensora Payer is listed for the Client.
- AP - Apex Payers - This Payer has already been switched for this Client.
- OA - Office Ally - This Payer still needs to be switched to the correct Ensora Payer for this Client.
Switch Client Payer to Ensora Clearinghouse Payer
- Click blue Client Name link from the Invoice Clients and Insurance screen.
- Scroll down to Primary Insurance section.
- Click dropdown and select correct new Ensora Clearinghouse Payer for Client.
- Click Save.
- Return to the Invoice Clients and Insurance screen and continue billing.
