Never used a Clearinghouse with My Clients Plus? Ready to setup for the first time with Ensora Clearinghouse? You're in the right spot. Let's get started!

NOTE: If you are already using a Clearinghouse with My Clients Plus and want to switch to Ensora Clearinghouse, your instructions will be slightly different.

Step 1: EDI & ERA Enrollment

Some Payers require EDI Enrollment before you can submit Claims to them electronically.

EDI is permission for the Provider to send the Claims electronically to the Insurance Payer, and ERA (Electronic Remittance Advice) is permission for the Insurance Payer to send details about how Claims were paid or denied, to the Provider.  An ERA is an electronic version of the explanation of benefits (EOB).

  • EDI: Provider --> Claim ---> Insurance
  • ERA: Insurance --> EOB --> Provider

Step 2: Validate Ensora Clearinghouse Electronic Billing Subscription

You will want to validate your Ensora Clearinghouse Electronic Billing Subscription to ensure you have the desired level selected. There are 3 subscription levels to choose: process up to 50 Claims per month, 300 Claims per month, or unlimited Claims per month.

Step 3: Setup your Electronic Payers in My Clients Plus and Start Billing

Now that your Payers have been approved you can set them up in your My Clients Plus account and start billing!
