Pull Telehealth Duration into a Progress Note

The telehealth session duration will calculate and display in the Duration field of your progress notes. This will prevent the note from being signed if the session is still active. This setting is also applicable to group Telehealth sessions. 

NOTE:  The duration is the total time the client and provider were in the session at the same time.

Telehealth Session Validation Setting

  1. Click Organization and Settings in the side navigation panel. 
  2. Click the Profile tab. 
  3. Click Enable Telehealth session validation setting.
  4. Click Save.

Progress Note Added Before Session Ends

  1. Click Add Progress Note before the Telehealth session has ended.

  2. The duration does not display and you will be unable to sign the note.
  3.  Any information entered in the note will be saved.

  4. After the session ends, refresh the page. The duration will display and you will be able to sign the note. 

Progress Note Added After Session Ends

  1. Click Add Progress Note after the telehealth session has ended.

  2. The duration displays in the Duration in minutes field and you can click Save and E-Sign.

Supervisee Adds Progress Note Before Session Ends

  1. A supervisee clicks Add Progress Note for a session that needs to be signed or approved by a supervisor. 
  2. The supervisee creates the note before the session ends.

  3.  The duration does not display and the supervisee will be unable to sign and submit the note to a supervisor.
  4. Any information entered in the note will be saved. 
  5. After the session ends, refresh the page. The duration will display and the supervisee can submit the note to the supervisor.
