Use the Patient Financial Portal to complete a paper bill edit.
NOTE: Edited paper bills can not be uploaded electronically.
Paper Bill Edit
- From the Admissions Grid, use the filters to search for the correct patient, then click the Apply button.
- Click the Financial Portal link.
- Click the Claims link in the menu on the left.
- Click the Checkbox to highlight the claim that needs to be edited.
- Click View/Print Claim.
- Click the Print Claims button on the Preview Claims pop-up window.
NOTE: This will open the Print Claims Form in a new tab. Even if you are not printing, this is necessary to enable editing.
- Close the Print Claims Form tab, then close out of the Preview Claims pop-up window.
- Click More Actions, then select Paper Bills.
- Click the Pencil icon next to the claim that populates in the pop-up window.
- Change the Page Size to match the number in the bottom right corner, then click the Change Button.
- Click the PDF Token section header to order the UB boxes by number.
- Edit the information using the boxes at on the left side.
- Click Save.
- To print, click the Checkbox to highlight the claim, then click Reprint Claim.
