Submit Corrected Claims from Transaction History

PERMISSIONS REQUIRED: You must have Billing Permissions.

Jump to Section:

 

Find the Note and Transaction ID

  1. Hover over the Note Center in the navigation bar, and open the appropriate Note Center.
  2. Locate the Note(s) that have the error and is listed as a Denial not a rejection.
  3. Scroll all the way to the right, and click View Payment History.

  4. Select and copy the Trans ID.

Transaction History

  1. Hover over the Managers tab in the navigation bar.
  2. Locate Direct Billing in the drop-down, and select Transaction History
  3. Paste the Trans ID in the Trans ID field.
  4. Click Search.

  5. Click View in the transaction.
  6. The ICN Number should be pre-populated. If it is not, manually type in the ICN number for the claim fund on the paper remittance. 
  7. Click Update ICN.
  8. Click in the box on the left to select the claim.
  9. In the Select Status drop-down, select Corrected/Billable.
  10. Click Update Billing Status.

New Billing Submission

Follow the regular Billing Submission process ensuring that the following information is correct:

  • Enter the appropriate date range to capture the desired Notes.
  • Check the Bill Corrected Claims (Only) box.

  • Only the corresponding Insurance Billing profile has the check mark.
