Error Message
Loop 2430 segment CAS: Segment Has Data Element Errors.
Description
The error will appear as a rejection in the Electronic Module. It means there are blank spaces entered in the COB tab within the CARC fields.
Resolution
- Click on the Electronic Module.
- Click on the Invoice link.
- The Invoice Window will open.
- Double click on the date of service that rejected.
- The Change Time Window will open.
- Click on the COB tab.
- Click inside each CARC field and remove all spaces.
- Click Save.
- Resend the claim.
