Error Message
Loop 2000 segment PRV: Segment Has Data Element Errors.
Description
The error will appear as a rejection in the Electronic Module. It means that a staff has been setup as a Bill To provider but is missing billing information on the claim. There are two places to check for a staff to be setup as a Bill To provider: Staff module and Payers module.
Resolution
Staff Module
- Go to the Staff Module > Billing Tab.
- Change Bill-to Provider drop-down to No.
- Click Save.
Payers Module
- Go to the Payers Module > Rates tab > Staff sub-tab.
- Change Bill To column drop-down to either No or [Default] if Staff module is already set to No.
- Click Save.
- Resend the claim.
