Invalid Bill Class - Of Type Bill

Description

This error appears as a rejection in the Electronic Module. This claim rejection is specific to clients with TriCare. There is a discrepancy with the second digit of the Facility Type Code. The second digit must be between 1-8, and cannot end with a 9.

Example: Facility Type Code 89 can cause this error, as the second digit does not fall between 1-8

Resolution

1. Go to the Clients Module.
2. Double-click the client you are having issues with.
3. Click the Admissions tab.
4. Change the Facility dropdown to a selection that meets the guidelines specified in the Description
5. Click Save.
6. Return to the invoice and resend the claim.
