If a voided claim was submitted and the insurance company requests a new claim to process without a corrected claim or voided claim code attached, you can resubmit the claim.

 

  1. Click Billing in the side navigation.
  2. Click Claims.
  3. Click the Accepted tab.
  4. Select the claim, click Update Status, then change the status to Denied.
  5. Click the Rejected/Denied tab.
  6. Click Update Status, then select Resubmit New Claim.
  7. Select the Resubmission details not required for this claim checkbox.

     IMPORTANT: Selecting this checkbox prevents the resubmission of a corrected or voided claim code.

  8. Click Resubmit & Create New Claim
      

    The claim is moved to the Resubmitted tab and will transmit to the clearinghouse within 24 hours.
