If you are posting a payment and get a message that it has been entered previously by X username on X date, you most likely have come across a payment that has been entered but the balance was not updated.
To correct this:
- Go to Payments Received and Adjustments. Instead of clicking on "Enter New Item", you are going to view payments already entered.
- Move the Beginning Date back to the first date you were doing payment entries. When you do this, you should see a long list of postings.
- If they have a green check they are finished and posted.
- If they have a red stop, they are not finished or posted yet.
- You can click on the BLUE posted date to see the payment and complete it.
