The article will walk you through the process of enabling a Location for setup and use in Bed Management. To manage beds, at least one Location must be set up in the Locations module.
NOTE: If you do not have a location in the Locations module, follow the steps in this article to create one.
Once a Location has been used in Bed Management and has historical bed assignments to clients, it can not be disabled in Bed Management.
In order to change this setting, you will need permission to access and make changes in the Locations module.
- Go to the Locations module.
- Double click to open a Location.
- From the Use in Bed Management drop-down menu, select Yes.

IMPORTANT: If you do not see this setting, your agency may not be set up to use Bed Management. Talk to a Champion at your agency and if needed, contact the Support Team.
