Reporting on Authorization Types & Statuses

1210 Pending Authorization Amounts Report

  • Shows Gross (Expected) revenue for service lines in the Time Module that have not been billed because they are associated with a Pending Authorization.

NOTE: For this report, a pending auth is one that has the pending checkbox selected in the Clients Module > Payer tab > Authorizations subtab. This report is based on different data than report 3210.

    • Expected Revenue is the ability in the system to automatically create adjustments at the time of billing a service line so that the remaining outstanding amount is your expected amount to be paid versus the higher amount you may be billing.

    • This may however impact the way they posts adjustments in your ERA module, as the payer is coded for the adjustment value however it was already adjusted at the time of billing, causing a mismatch.

1215 Pending Authorization Amounts Report (Detail)

  • Similar to report 1210, but shows specific service lines that are associated with a pending authorization.

NOTE: For this report, a pending auth is one that has the pending checkbox selected in the Clients Module > Payer tab > Authorizations subtab. This report is based on different data than report 3210.

1420 Authorization Detail Report

  • Displays a list of authorization details from the Clients Module > Payer tab > Authorizations subtab. Will include auths even if the client and/or payer is inactive. Has the option to include auths that are marked inactive, or to only show active auths.

3040 Client Authorizations

  • All current authorizations for clients with a payer. NOTE: Inactive clients are excluded from this report.

3210 Pending Authorizations

  • Shows all pending authorization requests for clients. Clients will appear on this report IF (in the Clients Module > Payer tab > Authorizations subtab), you have selected the pending checkbox or you have selected "Yes" for request pending.
