Unresponsive Kiosks

- Configure kiosk devices to not go to sleep.
- On the kiosk device, Exit Kiosk mode and log out at the end of each day.
- If a kiosk device will not be used for a long period of time, exit kiosk mode and log out on the device. Log in and Start Kiosk Mode when it is next needed.
- Manually refresh Kiosk Manager using the 'Check for Updates' link at the top of the module prior to sending new forms to ensure the kiosk is not unresponsive.
- If a kiosk becomes unresponsive in Kiosk Manager, click the Reset Kiosk.
Duplicate Kiosks

- Ensure permission to add new kiosks is limited.
- It is recommended that if a staff has the permission Kiosk Manager > 'Allows role to add new kiosks' that they also have the permission 'Allows role to assign kiosk to all staff'. This provides them the visibility to all kiosks so that a duplicate will not be created.
- Consider how many staff you want to have the ability to add new kiosks.
- Manually refresh Kiosk Manager using the 'Check for Updates' link at the top of the module prior to adding new kiosks.
- Train staff to only have one kiosk instance per device.
- Ensure permission to add new kiosks is limited.
