In order to take data in the app, a Target must first be created, opened, and at an In Treatment status in the Portal.

NOTE: To learn more about creating Targets in the Portal, please visit Targets: Create, Rename, Delete, Clone or Move.

After you select your Student in the App, you will be brought to the Student Dashboard. From here you can view your Playlists (such as Baseline, All Targets, Maintenance, and any Custom Playlists you have created). You may adjust your Session Settings and Select Programs to Run as shown in Data Collection Overview (Skill Acquisition Playlists & Behavior Reduction).

Run Playlist Session to Score Data

  1. Click the arrow to the right of the Playlist you want to use to start the Session and the Targets screen will display.

  2. Select the Task Analysis Target you wish to score by tapping it on the Program Target List on the left-hand side.
Click the Plus (+) icon to indicate the step was done by the Student with no prompts (Independent).
Click the Minus (-) icon to indicate the Student needed a prompt to complete the step or the step was done incorrectly.

  3. If the step required a prompt or was done incorrectly (see Note below), click the down arrow and choose the Prompt Code from the dropdown as shown below.

NOTE: In order to have the Prompt Code choices for Task Analysis shown here, you have to set the setting (in the Portal | Student | Setup | Settings | Other Settings). For "Score Prompt Codes on TAs" set to "Yes". When the option to "Score Prompt Codes on TAs" (Task Analyses) is set to Yes, users can take data on the Prompts that they use to obtain Student responses, and data can be graphed correspondingly. When this feature is set to No, TA steps are scored as Yes/No items only.

  4. When finished, click Save.
The Progress Bar will increase, as will the number of completed Trials over recommended Trials.

NOTE: You do not need to score all Steps before saving.

When creating the TA Target in the Portal, you may disable some steps so that they are not scored in the app.
