Momentary Time Sampling Behavior is a measure used to capture whether a specific Behavior is occurring at a predetermined time interval. It is graphed as a percentage of intervals in which the Target Behavior was observed. To take any Behavior data in the app, you must first create the Behavior in the Portal with the desired Recording Type (Frequency, Rate, Duration, Momentary Time Sample, Partial Interval). To learn how to create a Behavior in the Portal see Behaviors: Create, Edit, or Archive.
This article displays the steps to record a Momentary Time Sample Behavior in the app.

  5. Tap the Start icon to begin the Interval.

NOTE: The specified length of time is set up in the Portal. The Interval Length can be changed in the app if these Settings (in the Portal | Student | Setup | Settings | Interval Recording) "Lock Settings" is set to "No".

  6. At each Interval, you will get a popup to record the behaviors. Press the Plus + icon to indicate a behavior is occurring at that exact moment, or press the Minus - icon to indicate that behavior is not occurring. You can then click the X button to close the popup.

NOTE:  If you have the setting (in the Portal | Student | Setup | Settings | Interval Recording) for "Play Sound At End Of Interval" set to "Yes", you will hear a beep at the end of each Interval.

NOTE: The popup is only designed to appear on screens for Targets, Behaviors, Trial Sheet, Documents, and Assessments. So if the user is on SOAP Notes, Notes, or Videos there will be no popup.
