Functional Analysis Assessments are created in the Portal first and then can be conducted for a Student in the App. Assessments cannot be conducted in the Portal itself. You cannot edit or add information to an Assessment that has already been completed in the app.
NOTE: The Assessments tab is only available on tablet devices. Due to the amount of screen needed for Assessments, they are not available on phones.

Open Assessments in the App
- Open desired Student Dashboard.
- Click the arrow next to any Playlist.
- Select the Assessments tab on the top menu.
- Tap the arrow next to Functional Analysis to see your available Functional Analysis Assessments.
- Select the Assessment on the left and assessment information will display on the right.

Conduct a Functional Analysis Session
- Tap Start Session button in desired Functional Analysis assessment.
The session Time Remaining will start to count down.
- Tap Plus or Minus buttons to indicate a Behavior that did or did not occur.
- Tap Save Session button when the session is over to save data to the portal.
NOTE: Click the Cancel Session icon to start over.
- The next scheduled session appears at top of the app.
Completed sessions display with a Completed Date under Assessment Overview.
- When all sessions are completed the Completed Assessment Overview window displays.
Add a Note to the FA Assessment
Create an Anecdotal note during a Functional Analysis.
- Tap Add Note button.
- Enter desired note in Add Note screen and click the Save button.
NOTE: To exit Add Note screen without saving, tap the Cancel button.
- Any session containing a note will have a Note icon next to the completion date.
Tap the Note icon to view notes.NOTE: To view notes in the portal, access the Functional Analysis subtab in the Assessments tab of the Students portal. View Functional Analysis Assessments Overview for more information.
