This enhancement allows the capability to select a doctor/staff’s available days.
When adding or editing a Doctor/Staff in the Scheduler, the screen will be updated as shown below.
Users will now have the capability to specify the Doctor/Staff’s available workdays using the checkboxes on the right of the screen. (All current Doctor/Staff will default to all days checked.)
Once a Doctor/Staff is selected, if the user attempts to navigate to a day that the Doctor/Staff is not available, the following message will appear:
The selected day will still open. The message is only a warning.
If the user attempts to schedule an appointment on an unavailable day, the following message will appear:
Again, this is only a warning. The user can still schedule the appointment by selecting YES to the question.
In the Doctor/Staff Schedule under Procedures, there will be an option to print a report of appointments that need to be rescheduled due to unavailable days, as shown below.
