CS: Referral Source & Organization Look Feature

Throughout the system there are three places where users affiliate either a Referral Source or a
Referral Organization with a record. These three places include: 

• Within an Admission Record
• With a Sales Call Record
• With an Intake Call Record

Examples of each of these record types are displayed below, emphasizing the field to be
completed with Referral Source or Referral Organization:
 

To attach a Referral Source or an Organization with each of these record
types one uses the standard F3 Look-up to display a browse of the Referral
Sources and Organizations. This same browse contains other buttons to search
for specific Referral Sources/Organizations, to filter for and complete the fields
referenced above.

That browse has been improved and new features are discussed below:

In any of the three screens where a Referral Source or Organization Look-up is used, the new
Referral Source/Organization Associations browse will display the REFERRAL Source on the left
when searching for a REFERRAL source.

When the user is in an ORGANIZATION Look-up field, the ORGANIZATIONS will display on the left.
The user can change between Organization sort and Referral sort using the two radial buttons on the browse.

This is not new functionality, simply a slight change in presentation.

There are two other new navigational aids in this new Referral Source/Organization Associations
Browse:

1. From any place in the left-hand portion of the frame, the user may click or land the mouse curser, then, hit a given letter of the alphabet to navigate to the first instance of any records in that left-hand side that begins with that letter. In the screen above, for example, if the user wanted to find the first Organization beginning with the letter G the feature would land the user on GENERAL HOSPITAL EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT. Hitting Letter G again would land the user on the Georgia Department of Corrections.
2. For a precise, literal match based on alpha characters there is a new Match field. This field allows the user to enter a series of letters. After doing so and clicking the Match button, any Referral Source OR Organization on the browse containing the letters entered will be displayed for the user. In the example here the user has entered freu, All records that include the letters freu, are instantly displayed, and the user can then precisely choose the combination of Referral Source and Organization in the new entry.

The purpose and functionality of the five buttons across the bottom of the new Referral
Source/Organizations browse remain the same. In brief, these buttons include:
