When your clinic turns on patient messaging, the system will automatically send the users an email notification when they receive messages from portal users. If a user doesn't want to receive an email when they have a message from a portal user, they can turn off these notifications in their system Profile.
Turn Off Patient Messaging Notifications
- Click the My Account icon
in the upper right corner of your screen.
- Click Edit My Profile.
- Click the Notifications tab.
- Click the Patient Messages dropdown and select No, Don't Email Me.
- Click the Save Profile button.
