PERMISSION REQUIRED: You need the Admin permission to reset a user's password.
If one of your clinic's users forgot their password or is having trouble logging in to Fusion, you can reset their password to send them a password reset email.
Before You Begin
- Each user's password will expire and require updating after 90 days, and every 90 days thereafter. Password history will prohibit the re-use of the previous 10 passwords. Passwords must be a mixture of letters, numbers, and at least one upper case character and one special character.
- Resetting a user's password will log the user out of Fusion and prevent them from logging in again until they set a new password.
- The link in the password reset email will expire after one hour, but the user can request a new link with the Forgot Password button on the login page.
Reset a User's Password
- Go to Admin → Basic Setup → Users.
- To the right of the user, click the Reset Password icon

- To confirm you want to reset the user's password, click the Reset Password button.
