Activities allow occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech-language pathologists to manage and document in-session patient therapy and home exercise programs in Ensora Rehab. Activities can also be linked to daily notes and reported in progress notes, re-assessments, and discharge summaries. Caregivers can also access home activity resources in the patient portal.  Admins can add, edit, import, deactivate, reactivate, and delete activities from the Admin tab.

There are two kinds of activities in Ensora Rehab: Therapy Activities and Home Activities.

• Therapy Activities are exercises and other activities that are completed during therapy sessions.
• Home Activities are exercises, strategies, educational information, and other activities given to patients and their caregivers as part of a home program.

  NOTE: Your clinic needs the Home Education Platform (HEP) add-on to use home activities. If you're interested, reach out to Ensora Rehab Support.

To Access Activities: Click the Admin tab at the top of the screen. Click Advanced Setup in the menu on the left. Click Activities.

4. Click the Therapy tab to view and manage therapy activities, or click the Home tab to view and manage home activities.

Add an Activity

Navigate to the Activities section under the Admin tab to add new therapy and home activities.

1. Click the + Therapy Activity button from the Therapy tab, or click the + Home Activity button from the Home Tab.

2. Enter the activity Name.  

   NOTE: Two active activities cannot have the same name. If you want to add a new activity with the same name as an existing one, either deactivate or rename the old activity first.

3. Select the Services checkboxes to indicate which services the activity is available for.
4. Home Activities only: Enter a Description (Descriptions are optional and may display on progress notes, re-assessments, and discharges) and click Choose File to upload a PDF file of the activity document.
5. Select Yes in the Active dropdown to indicate that the activity is available for use in daily notes.
6. Click the Save Activity button.

Edit an Activity

Navigate to the Activities section under the Admin tab to edit therapy and home activities.

1. Click the Activity you want to edit.
   
    
2. Edit Name, Services, Description (Home Activities Only), and Active fields as needed.

   NOTE: It is not possible to edit the PDF file attached to an existing home activity. If you need to change the PDF file attached to a home activity, you must deactivate or delete the home activity, then create a new home activity with the new PDF.

3. Click the Save Activity button.

View or Print a Home Activity PDF

Navigate to the Activities section under the Admin tab to view or print a Home Activity PDF.

1. Click the Home tab.
2. Click the View Document icon  to the right of the activity description to display the home activity PDF.
   
    
3. Click the Download for PDF button to download the document, or click the Print button to print the document.
   

Import Home Activities

Navigate to the Activities section under the Admin tab to import Ensora Rehab's premade home activities for use in your clinic.

1. Click the Home tab.
2. Click the Import Home Activities button. 
   
    
3. Select the Checkbox next to one or more activity documents.
4. Click the Add Activities button.
   

Deactivate an Activity

Navigate to the Activities section under the Admin tab to deactivate an active activity. Deactivated activities are not available for use in daily notes.

1. Click the Activity you want to deactivate.
   
    
2. Select No in the Active dropdown.
3. Click the Save Activity button.
   

Reactivate an Activity

Navigate to the Activities section under the Admin tab to Reactivate a deactivated activity.

1. Click the Activity you want to reactivate.
   
    
2. Select Yes in the Active dropdown.
3. Click the Save Activity button.
   

Delete an Activity

Navigate to the Activities section under the Admin tab to delete an activity. A home activity can only be deleted if it has not been used in any patient documents.

1. Click the Delete icon  to the right of the activity description.
   
    
2. Click the Delete Activity button.
