Prescribers can add an obsolete drug, or a drug that has no National Drug Code (NDC), to the patient's Active Medications list using the Med Entry tab. This can be useful if you want to document that a patient is taking a drug with no NDC, such as marijuana, or a brand name that is no longer in production, such as Vioxx or Coumadin.

  1. Navigate to the Med Entry tab.

  3. Click the Drug Search Dropdown Caret and select Include Obsolete Drugs.
  4. Click the Drug Search button.
