The Pharmacy Change Requests list displays prescriptions that a pharmacist has requested substitutions or changes for prior to filling, or that require a prior authorization. Prescribers can Approve, Deny or Replace pharmacy change requests from the Tasks page.

Prescribers can take action on a change request by clicking on the patient name from the Tasks page. If the patient name displays in blue, this indicates that the request is for a mapped prescription. If the patient name displays in orange, this indicates that the request is for an unmapped prescription.

A blue Exclamation Point icon will display next the the patient name if the pharmacy indicates that a prescription is urgent.

Check out this Prescriber Guide to Rx Change to learn more about responding to change requests.

Click the Select Location and Select Prescriber drop--downs to filter for a specific location or prescriber. Click the Display dropdown to select which drugs appear on the Tasks page.

  • Select Display All to display all prescriptions.
  • Select Controlled to display only controlled substances.
  • Select Noncontrolled to display only noncontrolled substances.

To filter for a specific patient, enter the patient name in the Patient Search field, then click the Filter button. Use the Print icon at the top left to print the Tasks page. The page will display with any filters selected.
